he was 22, I was 18. We do tend to live the first couple of decades feeling a bit invinceable. Ever seeen toddlers on ice skates? Then strapping adolescents w/o helmets on motorcycles, skateboards, bmx stunt bikes, etc. Then there's the college set drinking to oblivion doing all kinds of stuff we shouldn't. I am in no way saying your friend was reckless, I'm saying it is not uncommon for people to need that "re evaluation" you mentioned. Life is a little more fragile than we sometimes think. Sorry to hear about your friend.
